In approximately 1.5 km north of Neochori, heading to Kalyvia Pezoulas there is on our right hand a road sign that leads us to the Botanical Garden after a short distance.
The Holy Monastery of Korona was built in a rather high place, 1.150m, between the communities Moschato and Mesenicola. It consists of the church and cells. The church, honoured to the "Birth of Virgin", is in the type of cross-in-square, enlarged into a trinconch by apses added to the cross arms (the type of Mount Athos), with narthex and parekklision in the West Side, honoured to Saint John Prodromos. The frescoes date to 1587and follow the Cretan style.

The first try for Pertouli ski Center construction was in 1984, when placed at the Pertouliotika Livadia site a small sliding lift 350 m in length, suitable for that time needs. In 1998 autumn constructed a new one aerial double seat lift, 1100 m in length, with a capacity of 600 persons/hour. In parallel, a new slope, 1350 m in length, was formed. It was also widened the existing parking, constructed a small chalet at the top of double seat lift and the central slope was lightened.

At the observation tower, one can undoubtedly enjoy the most charming picture of the lake. Arriving at the Observation tower all eyes are left lost on the watery surface of the lake, with the fjords and its verdant island. On the other side, the wooded hillsides and the dashing summits of Agrafa in the background, complete the stunning scenery. While being on the main road, 2km before the dam, follow the road sign on the right to the observation tower.

The Monastery of Panagia Pelekiti, a dashing post-Byzantine monument is built on a steep and high cliff (1400m.) of Pindos, one kilometer northwest of the village Karitsa.
